EDiHTA prioritises real-world evidence because health systems care about actual performance in their specific contexts, not theoretical performance in ideal conditions[[4]](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12976637/). Real-world evidence demonstrates whether clinical decision changes persist when clinicians have full autonomy, whether outcomes vary across different patient demographics, and what implementation barriers exist in actual deployment[[4]](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12976637/).
